On September 9, 1985, Luka Modric entered the world. He was born in Zadar, Croatia. Stipe Modric and Radojka Dope were his parents. In his first full season with “Dinamo,” he played in all 31 games, scored seven goals, and helped his side win the league championship. Thus, during the course of the next two seasons, Luka helped his team win two more league championships. In his second year with “Dinamo,” he was recognised as the league’s best player and given the “Prva HNL Player of the Year Award.” His stint at “Dinamo” was marked by 31 goals and 29 assists.
Further, he led his team to victory in the 2007 “Croatian Cup” as the team’s captain. His very profitable tenure with the firm Dinamo ended in 2008.
