Seth MacFarlane was born in Kent, Connecticut, USA, on 26 October 1973. His dad Ronald Milton MacFarlane was a teacher in high school, and his mother Ann Perry was a teacher. He has a sister who grew up as a voice actor, Rachael Ann MacFarlane.
Seth MacFarlane graduated from ‘Kent School’ in 1991. He pursued his passion for animation and film at the Rhode Island School of Design where he graduated with a baccalaureate in fine arts. He was also a writer for Walt Disney Animation in the Jungle Cubs TV series (1996). He created Larry’s Life (1995), which was original to be used as an intermediate on MADtv (1995). Unfortunately, the deal was concluded but, several months later, FOX managers called him to their offices and gave him $50,000 in pilot money to create a family guy (1999).
MacFarlane began establishing himself throughout his career as an actor, voice actor, animator, author, producer, director, comedian, and singer. In Ted (2012), his sequel Ted 2 (2015), and A Million Ways to Die in the West, MacFarlane has also written, directed, and starred (2014). He spoke the mouse, Mike, in the Sing of music (2016).
