Tony Shalhoub, whose full name is Anthony Marcus Shalhoub, is an American actor who was perhaps best known for his comedic roles. He is most well-known for his portrayal of the “defective detective” Adrian Monk in the American network television series Monk, who suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder.
