His passion for Internet and entrepreneurship engrossed him into this field at the age of 13. His first business which got failed after 2 years was an online shopping site in India. After one year he launched it again but in USA and now it’s one of the top revenue generating Subsidiary of his Group. He loves to share his experience and his knowledge with all.

Mohit Bahl Biography

In four years, Mohit Bahl has converted a start-up into a million-dollar company, Behal. “This is just the start, i had vision for 10 years”, says Mohit.

We know the journey definitely was not so easy.” I had those days in Chandigarh when I don’t have money for my food, at that time my full day meal was a litre Milk with bread. Instead of taking bus, i walked to save Rs. 10 even.” he says about an earlier venture that flamed out.

The 21-year-old now operates from Chandigarh & Gurdaspur (his hometown), with a young team and plastered with quotes everywhere in the office.

Mr Bahl spent his childhood in Gurdaspur. He started an ecommerce Business in 2013, at that time he was just 15. “The idea for ecommerce website was came to my mind when i ordered a mobile online but instead got a magazine in that parcel”. He contacted with many Manufacturers and Brands and started the business…

The initial days was very good and he started getting 25+ orders a day… But after the entry of big players in the market, the cash burn methology adopted by those affected his business. His father invested almost 5 lakhs in that business but failed because of lack of funds… He taken some lessons from his failure and moved on….

He then came to Chandigarh to learn Advanced Digital Skills, when he was of 18 at that time. But he noticed that the skills he is learning, he already know that and for advance level, he had to study by his own. He decided to do a job for survival and gone for an interview but after the interview he changed his mind back. “I was surprised by the interviewer and his questions…
