Professional wrestling is Jessica Elaban’s career path in the United States. Her career in WWE, during which she used the ring name Jessi Kamea, is primarily responsible for her widespread notoriety. Jessi Kamea is always looking for new and exciting experiences. Because her father was in the military, Kamea spent much of her childhood moving around quite a bit. She also participated in a wide range of sports, including volleyball, soccer, basketball, and track, in addition to her primary focus on volleyball, which helped her earn a scholarship to Concordia University. When she was approached in 2017 to begin training at the WWE Performance Center, she decided to shift her concentration to the ring.

The long-limbed and tremendously athletic Kamea has already turned heads and won great acclaim, even though she is a relative novice to the ring. She made her debut in the 2018 Mae Young Classic and has battled one-on-one against the likes of Mia Yim, Dakota Kai, and Ember Moon. After that, Kamea decided to connect herself with The Robert Stone Brand in the hopes of making a meteoric climb in the company’s ranks; yet, she seemed to spend more time attempting to overcome the unmet promises made by their boss. The emergence of Franky Monet as the new head of the organization has unquestionably shifted the dynamic, and it seems that Kamea is now in a position to capitalize on fresh chances.

Elaban earned her maiden victory on January 13, 2018, as she prevailed against Sage Beckett in a bout. Elaban and her tag team partner Kairi Sane were victorious in their debut match on February 3 at a home event. Their opponents, Reina Gonzalez and Sage Beckett were eliminated. Elaban was victorious in their respective matches against Sage Beckett, Rhea Ripley, and Zeda throughout February. Elaban participated almost exclusively in tag bouts during March. In a mixed tag match on April 14, she joined forces with The Authors of Pain and prevailed against Adrian Jaoude, Cezar Bononi, and Taynara Conti.

She completed the rest of April competing in singles matches against Lacey Evans and Reina Gonzalez. Elaban and Kairi Sane competed in another tag bout on May 31, which Lacey Evans and Vanessa Borne won this time. Elaban competed in wrestling the next day at the June 1 Live event. However, he was defeated by Aliyah in their bout. After three weeks, on the 22nd of June, she returned to the ring for the last bout of the month, which Lacey Evans won. Seven days later, on June 29, Elaban teamed up with Kacy Catanzaro to beat Aliyah and Reina Gonzalez in a tag match in a house event. On the last day of the month (June 30), she was defeated by Aliyah in a match.

During the first few weeks of July, the bulk of Elaban’s time in the ring was spent competing in tag team bouts. She competed in several Contendership Battle Royals for the NXT Women’s Championship at the event that took place on July 20 Live. However she ended up losing to Candice LeRae. She completed the rest of the month competing in tag team bouts and two singles battles versus Vanessa Borne, winning their rematch on July 29. She also competed in singles matches against other opponents.

Elaban started the following month off by competing in tag team battles with Heavy Machinery, which consisted of Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight. Together, they were victorious in a mixed-tag match against Adrian Jaoude, Cezar Bononi, and Taynara Conti. Elaban competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic and made it to the first round of the event on August 8, when it was taped. However, Taynara Conti was able to remove her from the competition. Elaban came back the next day, August 9, for the tapings of the Mae Young Classic. In a six-woman tag match, Elaban, MJ Jenkins, and Xia Brookside trio prevailed over Allysin Kay, Reina Gonzalez, and Vanessa Kraven. They were assisted in their victory by Xia Brookside.

Fellow NXT rookie Bianca Belair defeated Elaban if it took place on August 10 Live. In a six-woman tag match the following day at the August 11 Live event, Elaban, together with Kairi Sane and Nikki Cross, prevailed over Bianca Belair, Lacey Evans, and Shayna Baszler to earn the victory. Elaban returned to action on August 24, two weeks later, teaming up with fresh NXT signee MJ Jenkins in a tag match that they ultimately lost to Bianca Belair and Lacey Evans.

Elaban made her comeback the following month for the September 6 Live event. She teamed up with MJ Jenkins again and competed in a tag bout, where they won by disqualification over Kavita Devi and Reina Gonzalez. Two nights later, on September 8th, Elaban competed in a singles match at the September 8 Live event. However, she was defeated by Lacey Evans. Elaban was defeated by Reina Gonzalez and Aliyah in their respective singles bouts at the Live event the following week, September 13 and September 14.

Elaban made his comeback the following week at the September 22 Live event. He teamed up with Heavy Machinery, which consisted of Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight, to beat Lacey Evans and The Forgotten Sons (Jaxson Ryker & Wesley Blake). Six nights later, on September 28 Live, Elaban returned to participate in a No. 1 Contendership battle royal for the WWE United Kingdom Women’s Championship. The match was part of the live event. After eliminating Vanessa Borne, Elaban emerged victorious in the battle royal and assumed the new No. 1 Contender position.

Later on, during the house show, Elaban attempted to defeat Rhea Ripley, now holding the title of UK Women’s Champion; however, she was unsuccessful. Elaban made her comeback the following month, at the October 4 Live event, when she teamed up with Lacey Lane, a new NXT acquisition, in a tag match that they ultimately lost to Kavita Devi and Reina Gonzalez. The next week, on October 12, Elaban competed in a tag match with Lacey Lane and Io Shirai. Still, they were defeated by Shayna Baszler, who was accompanied by NXT newcomers Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.

At the end of the month, she competed in a tag match at the October 26 Live event. She teamed up with MJ Jenkins for the second time. However, they were defeated by Aliyah and Reina Gonzalez. Elaban suffered a defeat in a bout for the NXT Women’s Championship the next year, in 2019, at an April 20 Live event. Shayna Baszler was the victor. Her first match under her new ring name, Jessi Kamea, took place at the June 20 Live event, and it was a championship match for the NXT Women’s Championship, which Shayna Baszler held. She competed in matches throughout July and August, which were part of the Live events.

The following month, she returned at the September 5 Live event, where she teamed up with Mia Yim to beat Chelsea Green and Deonna Purrazzo in a tag team bout. The upcoming appearance of Lyra Valkyria was heavily promoted on this week’s episode of NXT. The production firm has been releasing teasers in anticipation of her first appearance on the program, which will take place very soon. The above name will now be used as Aoife Valkyrie’s ring nickname. She became a member of NXT UK up to its dissolution in 2020, after which she secured a contract with WWE. The date of August 26, 2022, marked her last appearance on the program.

This week’s edition of NXT included the segment during the second hour of the show’s broadcast. We cannot wait to hear what Valkyria offers in this conversation. Even though she has not yet won a title in WWE, she has an impressive record in terms of the number of opponents she has beaten. Isla Dawn, Nina Samuels, Aliyah, Jessi Kamea, MJ Jenkins, Taynara, and Dani Luna are just a few players with that Lyra Valkyria has triumphed. In fact, before her loss against Meiko Satomura on the edition of NXT UK that aired on April 29, 2021, she had won 14 consecutive matches in a row.

Jessi Kamea hasn’t competed in a wrestling match since she was let go from WWE in November last year, but that doesn’t mean she’s finished with the sport. During a recent conversation with Alicia Atout to do an interview, Kamea said that even though she is currently working on various other projects, wrestling is something that she is interested in pursuing. In October 2017, Kamea made her first appearance for NXT during a live event (then called Jessie Elaban). Additionally, she competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic, where Tay Conti defeated her in the first round of competition. Jessi has worked bouts for Evolve, on Main Event, and at the 2019 Worlds Collide event, in addition to NXT. She has also worked for Main Event.

She, along with Aliyah and Franky Monet, was a member of The Robert Stone Brand during the summer of 2021. On August 24th, she competed in her most recent bout against Raquel Gonzalez, a former NXT Women’s Champion. Jessi Kamea’s five-year run with WWE ended in November 2021 when the organization decided to let her go after she had been with the company for a total of five years. Despite having signed with NXT in 2017, Kamea did not begin appearing regularly on NXT television until 2021, when she joined forces with Aliyah to compete as a tag team for the Robert Stone Brand. After Aliyah was promoted to the main roster later that year, Kamea fell through the cracks in the NXT Women’s Division.

After receiving feedback on her choice of clothing in a tweet earlier today, Kamea felt compelled to issue an apology on Twitter. She posted photographs on Twitter while wearing a T-shirt that said, “End Racism Make Mixed Babies.” That did not sit well with some of the supporters. Following negative feedback on her message, she removed the tweet from her account. After realizing that her tweet and t-shirt seemed offensive to some people, she wrote an apology explaining both. When Jessi Kamea tweets anything in the future, we will have to observe whether or not she exercises a greater degree of caution before doing so to avoid upsetting other people. On Twitter, controversies may be sparked by anything, and you never know what will do it. Today was an excellent day for Jessi Kamea to increase her knowledge of social media. Her explanation was also highly well-managed, and she handled the matter well.
