Julie Ege was born on November 12, 1943 in Sandnes, Norway as Julie Dzuli. She was an entertainer, known for On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969), Not Now Darling (1973) and Every Home Should Have One (1970). She was married to Alf Kruger-Monsen and Erland Skatten. She dead on April 29, 2008 in Oslo, Norway.
Ege was twice marrige and separated during the ’60s and had two little girls. During the ’70s she lived with The Beatles’ visit rodeo Tony Bramwell, and later with the Norwegian creator Anders Bye.
After her motion picture and displaying vocation she completed her optional training and contemplated nursing. She later moved on from the University of Oslo where she considered History and English, after which she completed her nursing tests and kept working in the general wellbeing area in Oslo. Her vocation, just as her disease is portrayed in detail in her collection of memoirs, Naken (Naked), distributed in 2002.
She made her film debut in a low-spending Norwegian film Stompa until sjøs (Stompa at Sea). She was a Penthouse Pet of May which handled her a job in 1969’s On Her Majesty’s Secret Service as Helen, the “Scandinavian young lady”. She later featured in Hammer Film Productions’ Creatures the World Forgot and The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires. Her different appearances incorporate Every Home Should Have One with Marty Feldman, and the Gluttony portion of The Magnificent Seven Deadly Sins.
Ege is likely best associated with her job in the 1971 satire hit film Up Pompeii close by Frankie Howerd. She played Voluptua, a Roman ruler. Her voice anyway was overdubbed by another on-screen character for the film. On being acquainted with Lance Percival’s character, who says “Madame, it’s a joy”, her well known reaction is “Truly, I know. I’ve attempted it”.
In a UK TV Documentary a couple of years before her passing she expressed that she never disapproved being named a marvelousness entertainer and that it had been a decent life that fundamentally helped take care of the tabs. She came back to Norway and did a couple of movies before qualifying as an enlisted medical caretaker in 1998. She lived in Oslo where she functioned as an attendant.
