Jahron Anthony Brathwaite was born in Missisauga, Ontario, Canada on July 3, 1993. PartyNextDoor is a Canadian singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer who goes by the stage name PartyNextDoor.
He obtained a publishing agreement with Warner/Chappell as a songwriter under the name PartyNextDoor at the age of 18, after making electronic-infused R&B under his real name Jahron Brathwaite [Jahron B]. On July 1, 2013, his first mixtape, PartyNextDoor, was released on the iTunes Store. The song remained at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for nine weeks in a row. On the same album, he also wrote the song “Sex with Me.” PartyNextDoor released “Come and See Me,” a song featuring Drake, from his upcoming second studio album, PartyNextDoor 3, on March 25, 2016. (also known as P3). On June 23, 2016, a music video directed by affiliate and collaborator Adrian Martinez was published on Snapchat, featuring Kylie Jenner, Big Sean, and Jhené Aiko. Jeremih called into Real 92.3 LA on June 15, 2016 to announce a collaboration album with PartyNextDoor titled Late Night Party. On July 2, 2016, he released another single, “Like That,” on OVO Sound radio, starring Jeremih and Lil Wayne. PartyNextDoor announced the release date for his second studio album, PartyNextDoor 3, on July 21, 2016, and released “Not Nice,” the album’s second single, on August 12, 2016.
Party released Partypack, a seven-song EP including “previously unreleased” songs, including the 2014 hit “Persian Rugs,” on October 15, 2020.
Party’s 2014 EP, Colours, was published to streaming sites for the first time on January 29, 2021. There are four new tunes on this album.
