While at Saturday Night Live, she interned for Seth Meyers, the head writer. She submitted an audition tape in 2012, which featured a segment of her impersonating Katharine Hepburn, providing the voice for Bugs Bunny in Space Jam. Rachel Bloom was candid about the recent announcement that her program Reboot will be canceled after its first season at the premiere of the new Netflix romantic comedy, Your Place or Mine, in which she also co-stars. The event took place on Thursday night.
“The writing was on the wall for a little bit of time because we weren’t hearing anything,” she said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “I don’t understand, but it appeared like others were watching it in my world. Because they don’t share any information, I have yet to learn how the metrics are calculated. Although the creator of the written comedy series intends to hunt for a new home, it was reported on Monday that Hulu has decided to terminate the series after just one season. The sitcom was created by Steve Levitan, who helped create Modern Family.
The plot of the comedy centered on the actors of an old sitcom who got back together in an attempt to revive the series. Bloom, Keegan-Michael Key, Johnny Knoxville, Judy Greer, and Paul Reiser were among those who starred in it. On September 20, the first three episodes of Reboot, a new comedy series created by Steven Levitan and hosted on Hulu, will become available to stream. Levitan is responsible for creating several great series, one of which is the smash hit comedy Modern Family, which airs on ABC. Thanks to his show Reboot, Levitan seems prepared to make a splash in the streaming world.
After the first three episodes of Reboot have been released, the show will return with a new episode every Tuesday. The cast of a famous family comedy from the early 2000s that has been relaunched, as the show’s title suggests, is the subject of the television series Reboot. The plot of Reboot, which takes place inside a television production company’s boardrooms, trailers, and sets, is packed with amusing meta jokes and insightful criticism of the television business. A significant portion of the meta-comedy is brought about by the character Hannah, who, along with her counterpart Gordon (played by Paul Reiser), is a writer on the fictitious sitcom Step Right Up, which has been relaunched.
Rachel Bloom, the actress who plays Hannah, is also the creator of the show and a writer in her own right. Previous to that, Bloom was a co-creator, writer, and star of the critically acclaimed musical comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which aired on the CW for a total of four seasons. In an interview with TV Rant, Bloom discussed the challenges of playing a writer on TV, being a member of the cast of Reboot, and the possibility of doing a musical duet with her co-star Paul Reiser.
