‘Hell in a Cell’ was the first time Sebei had ever turned heel in his career, on October 8th, 2017. It all started when he teamed up with Kevin Owens to help him defeat Shane McMahon, leading to a feud between the two. “SmackDown Live’s” Sebei rationalised his actions by claiming that despite the “Land of Opportunity” moniker, Vince McMahon had failed to provide him with any chances.

‘SmackDown’ General Manager Daniel Bryan chastised Sebei and Owens on the March 20, 2018 episode of the show for their attack on McMahon the week before. When Bryan and McMahon faced off against Sebei and Owens in a tag team match at ‘WrestleMania 34,’ it was with the understanding that if they won, Sebei and Owens would be reassigned to SmackDown. Despite this, Bryan and McMahon were victorious in the bout.

Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon signed free agents Sebei and Owens to Raw contracts on the 16th of April, 2018. A handful of Sebei’s appearances in video games can be found in the WWE 2K series, which includes the 2015, 2016, and 2017 editions. All home-ice victories by Edmonton’s professional ice hockey team were marked by the WWE entrance music of Sebei, which was played every time.
Personal and romantic details about Sebei are scarce. The name of his wife is Deeja, according to certain reports.
