The year 2004 saw the beginning of Warpaint, an American indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. Stella Mozgawa is the drummer, Emily Kokal is the vocalist and guitarist, Theresa Wayman is the vocalist and guitarist, Jenny Lee Lindberg is the bassist and vocalist, and Theresa Wayman is the vocalist. The Fool (2010), Warpaint (2014), Heads Up (2016), and Radiate Like This (2022) are the four studio albums that the band has released up to this point. When Warpaint announced the release of their third studio album, Heads Up, on September 23, 2016, they also released a song titled “New Song” on August 1, 2016. Beginning on August 23, 2017, and ending on October 27, 2017, they participated in the Global Spirit Tour as a special guest and opening act for Depeche Mode. The four gigs they did at the Hollywood Bowl as opening acts for Depeche Mode were the first time a band successfully performed four consecutive shows at the renowned arena in Los Angeles.
