What would you say, then, to build confidence, is the most critical thing that a dog requires of his human companion? Time! That’s one of the main things. There are no quick cures when it comes to dog training. Our dogs need time just as much for their development and quality of life as a young child. Dogs can learn awesome things as long as we are persistent, caring, patient and eager to spend their time. This is a well-trained dog’s formula. One of the great lessons that I have learnt in working with dogs is certainly the virtue of patience in all area of life.
