Major League Soccer club Minnesota United FC is headquartered in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and competes in the Western Conference. There was a North American Soccer League franchise of the same name that was renamed the New York Cosmos in 2017.
Two seasons in the MLS were spent playing at TCF Bank Stadium on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, where the team’s home games were held.
