Lars Kristopher Larson (born March 6, 1959) is a Portland, Oregon-based conservative talk radio show host. From the 1970s to the 1990s, Larson worked in television and radio news, and since 1997, he has presented The Lars Larson Show on KXL in Portland. There are two versions of the show: one airs from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. (Pacific) and discusses Pacific Northwest topics, while the other airs from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. (Pacific). Alpha Media owns and operates the Radio Northwest Network, which broadcasts the Northwest programme. The nationally syndicated programme examines national problems from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Pacific). Compass Media Networks syndicates the nationwide show.

Larson was born in the Taiwanese capital of Taipei. Larson’s father served in the US Navy, and when he went into forestry, he moved the family to Montana, California (Happy Camp, Somes Bar, and Dorris), and Klamath Falls, Oregon, before settling in Tillamook, Oregon, when he was a teenager. Patty Schild of Sisters, Oregon, is Lars’s only sibling. He attended Tillamook High School and was a member of the speech and debate team. He married Debb Janes, a Portland radio personality, in the early 1990s. Larson married Tina Larson in 1997. They reside in the city of Vancouver, Washington. He is the father of two stepchildren.
